I think loons are some of the most interesting beautiful waterfowl around. I rarely hear their call in the wild but we are getting a few on the mountain lakes in SW Montana the last few years.
Thanks guys. Hope you like what emerges here. I am a little behind the 8 ball on this one. Birds usually give me a fit. I did how every just sketch this one with using a graph of any sort and think it came out good. I know there will be changes made as I go.
Thanks MK, Now last night I sat about 4 hours and fiddled with the tones on the head , lining up dots and just getting to looking at this how too's technique's.
I haven't done much on this the past week. I had to remove the inner primary to the bike to replace the rear shifter linkage. I am new at being a bike mechanic so it took some time. A lot of runs to the parts store for the right tool. LOL
Still didn't get the bike running right. The clutch is way off and that's out of my knowledge scope. Even reading the manual I can't get the RPM's up when in gear.
Fishing in East Texas with Draftstud and our sons yesterday we saw a calling flock of these swimming past the boat in a thick cold fog. We had been hearing them and discussing your painting skills Dave. An eerily beautiful sight and sound moment. Cool creatures indeed.
No-h
It's been 2 weeks since ive worked on this. I don't think I could have picked a harder more complex pose. I think I'm back on track.
I did take the bike to a shop, the pinch ring to the clutch was not in correctly.
