Wow! @brockel the Google says it's only 14 hours from my place to Baker, if I could see the Lights that good I'd come visit.

21:00 is when I could see them. Kids were already asleep but I noticed them coming home from the gym.

My family is now on their way all the way to Iceland to see them. I have seen them many times while hunting in Alaska and BC. Pretty humbling experience for me. I have heard some pretty funny ideas about what they are while in hunting camps. A guide told me that they were reflections from the lights in Russia !

We are calving so we are out all times of the night checking cows.

Every two hours at night you have to go look at every cow to make sure none of them are having trouble calving and with these colder temperatures if one did have a Calf you have to make sure it is not froze down. When the normal black sky is lit up it sure catches your eye.
