This guy visits us almost each night, sometimes with a friend. They get pretty loud. I finished working out on the deck and moved the scaffolding, now they sit on the railing. I have seen them a few times swoop down and nail my dog in the back of the head. One seems to have nested about 30 yards from the house.

A little tougher and stringier, but go great with a can of chicken stock added to the boiling water, shred the meat and then combine to make a big pot of rice and hooty owl.
