Lets see the bird

Not sure if it was or not I was scouting snow geese last year and he came buzzing over the top. I got that pic as he was leaving. What camera and lens do you use oak. Thinking about spending the money on a bigger lens but not sure if I should by a better body too. Using nikon d40 with a nikkor 70-300 1:4.5-5.6 lens. Ive loved the camera because its small and compact compared to some. I can take it with me while im hunting.
 
I just use a point and shoot...Panasonic FZ20. I've thought about upgrading to a DSLR, but it's hard to give up the convenience of the point and shoot.
 
I have posted these before, but here are couple. Just a couple more months and they will be back at it.

Thanks for the pictures of the hollywoods, I think they're one of the prettiest waterfowl out there, and thank goodness they're easy to identify flying, keeps me from finding out what they are when they're in my hand
 
This is the only bird pic I have. Took it with my cell phone, since I don't have a fancy camera...lol

My first ever pheasant I shot on this past Christmas afternoon...
