I am not in herd management around here on the farm. I drop any deer that I can make a clean kill on with my bow. The farmer who lets me hunt his land(formerly my relatives) is appreciative for it and the meat feeds my family! Deer are overrunning this area of the coulee region!

Started a new job this week. We clear the ROW for rural electric coops. Kind of funny that the guys I work with don’t hunt.

Over half the land we’ve been working this week have all been QDM land and there are signs up everywhere making sure people know.

Yes, there’s lot of public land in the area too.
