Less than 50 days away...Black Hills!!!

Here are the bucks. One thing that we learned was that the bucks in the hills are all very simular. We called them cookie cutter bucks. Back home bucks vary so much as far as tine lenght, width, points and brow tines.

It was a very enjoyable hunt.

Was that really how the BH is? Cookie cutter bucks? I'm planning on hunting there in 2021/2022.

Of the 10-12 bucks we saw in town that we said were nice, they all looked simular. Again, they are nice mature deer but very simular in antler growth.
 
I've seen quite a few that were harvested down around Hot Springs. Few and and far between but there are a few around. Find a refuge and see what comes out of it.
