Show me your recommendations for leather makers for a chest right for my colt python (6"). Looking for American made craftsmanship, not a company with great SEO. I don't need/want ornate embossed or stamped leather. Just great construction with high quality leather that will long outlast me. I'm certain there are a number of quality makers out there that spend more time with leather and tools in their hands than a keyboard under their fingers so looking for recommendations.

Diamond D Leather Guides Choice

It’s either this one or the Simply Rugged Chesty Puller system to go along with their Sourdough holster.

I have a couple of SR’s Sourdough pancake holsters and having the harness work for them is kinda a nice feature.

I was playing with a 4” python at Scheel’s the other day and was damn tempted to buy one. The diamond D chest rig is very nice, I have one for my Blackhawk.

I know a guy who has a collection of Colts that could be used to pay off the national debt! It’s unreal.

I think seeing everyone drool over Pythons makes me feel a little better about buying one from a guy at my work for $1250.

As mentioned above, Diamond D. I've had them make 3 custom (mods) Guides Choice in years past. Top notch quality.

The Kenai is also excellent for those wanting synthetic.
