Heading to the backcountry on Thursday night packing in 4 miles for a week and season opens on saturday

I will be up on the mountain with my son for the opener of elk season. It will be his first time out so if he survives the climb in it should be a great time! Good luck Cush. I hope you shoot a monster like I've seen come from that unit

I plan on taking a road trip north of where I live a couple hours to do a little brown trout fishing with some terrestrials and nymphs.

Taking my family to Kalispell to see the Thunderbirds and then to visit Dad. Maybe Glacier on the way back.

My in-laws have been at our house all week visiting, and we are all going to a family reunion ( Wife's side ) over the weekend, very large family, there will be over 200 people, it is the hillbilly hoedown. lol
it will be fun, a lot of hunters, so I fit right in.

This would have been my "Plan B" for this year! I hope the weather cooperates for you, last weekend wasn't all that great to be out scouting unless you were a duck!
