Of the pics I’ve seen, the McWalnut pattern looks very similar. The marbling is very convincing of the real thing.

The OEM Rem CDL stock pointed very well...this one with the comb and palm swell is perfect.

Ken, all it needs to really jazz it up is a white line spacer.

It was a good Friday!
Only had to work 5 hrs of overtime, so off by 10am.
Went to the gunshop & picked up my new project rifle.
Savage Axis II in 7mm-HT.

Got it home & started the reaming to AI.
Plan is to put this barrel on the Stevens 200. Barrel from the Stevens going on the Axis action (250 Savage) with a Boyds stock & Burris scope.

Is there a different grain pattern you get to select or is it random?

There are 2 different choices. Mcwoody and Mcwalnut. For either it’s basically random marble/swirling. The Mcwalnut would be my choice though.
