OK, beardown, so let's assume for a minute that the gubmint suddenly agrees with you and does away with reservations. Presto, changeo, there's no such thing as a reservation anymore, and the Indians have the same status as any other American. What changes? Do the Indians suddenly become empowered individuals and start cranking out new businesses and making their own way in life, or do they just move over from what they've got now to some other social program like welfare?
