Idaho Sawtooth B Tag

I was one of the few to get a limited qty. Idaho Sawtooth B tag this year. I have been in there in years past camping and have seen a lot of elk but it was in July and so I don't know how far they move post Rut. Anyways, my pre-season scouting has been hindered with a shoulder surgery, family responsibilities, a vacation with my wife etc... has anyone hunted this area with any success that you can point me in the right direction? I am not looking for secret spots but just a general area. Heck, even if you are hunting the area and could use another person in your group I would love to join you. I am mostly a solo hunter and would love to make new hunting friends.

Depending on the snow, I'd be looking at the north facing slopes south of Deadwood.
