Idaho Elk 59 & 59a

This post is somewhat of a hybrid. My wife and I will be headed out elk hunting this week in a new area. I have gone into the area a few times this fall/summer and have some areas scouted. I will be updating this post hopefully while out in the field but also wanted to see if anyone has hunted 59 and 59a previously for anything and had any advice about those units. We are excited to get our there with the other 198 tag holders. Nothing like time in the woods to clear your mind from the daily grind.

Killed my first bull at 12 years old in unit 59. Dry Creek if I remember correctly. Good Luck!

Dry creek is on my list. 2 cows taken during muzzleloader a week or so ago.

Our mutual friend likes to make fun of how worked up I get the day and night before. Almost sick to my stomach and even worse in a new area.
