Who's had success harvesting giant bucks in Idaho 36b? My 13 year daughter is gonna drop a dandy this year.

I have yet to find a whitetail in that unit worth burning my tag on.

Good luck. The last major winter die off has left the area with about the same age class of bucks. There might be some bigs ones here and there. Then this past winter hit the deer hard again. Finding a lot of winter kill all over now we can get out into the hills. 3 and small 4points is all we could find last season. Also it was a zoo here. The Moose fire pushed everyone into 36b. Now with IDFG shutting down SE does it'll be a zoo here again with everyone coming in thinking the same way as you. Like I said good luck and start walking and hiking to get everyone in shape now.
