I need to fish more

I live minutes away from prime trout waters, and have somehow gotten out of the habit of wetting a line.

Today I corrected that downward trend and drove 4 minutes and parked.

Look at this beauty. The crappy cell picture doesn't do it justice. Bright colors, thick, heavy fish. It put a smile on my face all day.

I want more.

A couple years ago I repented and decided to do more fishing. I live in fishing paradise and I've been so caught up in big game hunting that fishing was pretty much ignored. Since switching to fishing I have to say, I wish I would have repented sooner. I still hunt big game, I'm just not obsessed with it anymore. Fishing and coyote hunting keep me more than happy. That is a beauty rainbow you have there. Hope to see some more pics from you soon.

I'm in the "4 minutes drive" jealousy crowd, beautiful fish, congrats. I'm not sure how life gets so out-of-whack sometimes, I have a screen name of fishing4sanity and so far this year I have a total of zero minutes fishing - and it shows in my lack of sanity. Sorry to cry on your post.

I used to have nun-chuck and bo-staff skills, but I will never have a Costco nearby like you do.....I guess that's a big deal.
