Hydration for Hunts

I use a MSR trail shot and a dirty and clean water bottle. I use to use the Sawer mini, but I had trouble with filling the bag up and the threads seemed to become crossed easily, then water would slowly leak down the side of the filter and contaminate the clean again.

I like the MSR now. It weighs 5 oz and is about the size of two cassette tapes together. It's not the fastest, but I can do 32 oz in a few minutes. The hose is a little small for filtering directly from the source though, hence the dirty bottle, once you use that to stick the hose in, it works great. I use a smart water bottle for the clean and a gatorade bottle for the dirty, I like being able to tell by look and touch which is which. The wider mouth on the gatorade is easier to fill and filter from for me.
