Spent a full two weeks camping out. No bears seen this year and more cow moose with calves, that's a good thing. Heading out.

Moose camp chow. No time limit creating succulent dishes.



By far, boys favorite, moose spaghetti. Texas toast in the fry pan buttered with garlic powder & salt.

We process the moose in the home shop. Cut & wrap. My butcher friends handle the scrap cuts and create awesome products.



My buddy in the green, who never hunted in his life, I took out several years back. Put him on a nice bull.

I can't imagine the anxiety of a potential breakdown out there, or how long it takes to process a 1600+ lb moose. That's like 3-4 bull elk...
