Hunting camp beer let's see 'em

I take a 30 pack of Coors Banquet for a week to 10 days of elk hunting. It will last me most of the five weeks of rifle. It’s by far my favorite kind, but they are all mostly good if they are cold.

That said, a few years ago, the night before flying out from Denver, I had some IPA at a brewery in Lafayette, CO that tasted so divine, I still think about it. Wish I could remember the name..
Most likely Odd13. They put out some excellent IPAs (a couple blocks off the main street: http://www.odd13brewing.com/)

luckily my route to either of our main elk camps takes me within a few miles of Outer Range so they are always well represented. Usually some Oskar Blues One-y (brainchild of my buddy who is one of the head brewers there) and Coors Light for hydration.

I still can't remember the name of the beer, but I did some digging and figured out the brewery. It was Liquid Mechanics. Had a great burger there too, from a food truck. Pleasant evening!

👍🏻👍🏻 Had a little Irish Death just last night, local growler fill now has their handle. I like to drop by the pub when I travel to Ellensberg
