Mike made it out of surgery last night and was talking and moving all four limbs last night... He even made a joke..... So it at least looks like the he is going to pull through the surgery part of this whole thing.

Still to early to know how succesful the sugery was or exactly what he is up against. It is going to be a long hard road from here, but if I know Mike he is strong enough to make it through this.

Thanks to all for the thoughts and prayers. Hoping to get to see him tomorrow or Tuesday and will pass along the good wishes.

The fact that he was so responsive after surgery is a good sign for sure.... but he is not out of the woods yet. Lots of questions left to be answered and time will tell I guess.
