How many hunting rifles do you have?

I jump from .22 to .30. cal. Kids are getting to hunting age soon, so will probably look for something in between... I started on 30-06 though, so I'm sure my kids can handle it if needed (could even do reduced loads).

That's a bunch-O-crap. Every one of my rifles has a definite purpose. I'm almost covered for species. Next I'll cover caliber for weather conditions. Then I'll work on having each in the correct color etc.
Wood and blue for red flannel and blue jeans.
Stainless and synthetic for the new age camo.

Four...two 22 lr's, a 270 win for stand hunting, and a 450 bushmaster AR-15 for deer drives. I've sold all the rest. Now shotguns...well that's an entirely different ball game.

22hornet, 222 rem, 300wsm seven others are there taking up space
they are
22lr, 22hornet, 223 win mod 70, 243 mod 70, 300wsm xbolt, 300wsm xbolt long range, dang i got my count wrong

its a 17 hornet, boy glad i found it

I’ve sold 4, one of which I’m still kicking myself for 9 years later.

I have just 2: 6.5 & .17

I eventually plan on getting a .357 for my kid to shoot, and a 45-70 for me.

One. I own a 30-06. All else which I may or may not own is unnecessary redundancy. The OP asked “hunting rifles”. Not iterations of .24, .25, .26, .27, .28 which is all “other”. More then .30-something diameter is “other plus”. Because you could kill a deer with a manbun or you could kill a grizzly with a .50 BMG, but you should only kill both with a 30-06. 1725834202588.gif

I don’t disagree, my first gun was a 3006 and I still love that thing. I’m definitely leaning to not buying a 7th for sure
