Holiday antler pile

That is a big one. The bedroom door is where antlers shall not pass though.

I parted with a pile last spring. Still have 6 to 8 hundred keepers though.

Both. Bought my Swarovski’s, exo pack and a bunch of other gear with a few trips to the buyer. I’ve still got a couple keeper piles that my wife things are too big

It's great to stretch the legs after a long winter! Especially when I spend several months eating & drinking to excess.. Also, it's pretty fun walking up on one like this, especially when it's so rare.

You guys are awful sentimental about antlers with the only attachment is the 30 seconds of euphoria after finding them. My stash pays for hunting trips. I still can't believe people pay what they do.

I have a ready to sell pile, and keep mostly the ones I’ve killed or think there’s a chance I could someday. I’ve sold a few like that I regret.

I have a friend who, until recently, ran an antler art business so I have always sold my antlers. With the exception of the occasional "special" ones that I would keep for a while. But even those never seem so special after a year or so. I find the joy is in finding them not possessing them.

Sold this pile of crappers this fall. Just didn’t have room for them anymore and couldn’t remember where I had even found most of them.

@PaulRevere inspired me to take the time to pile up the keeper elk antlers in the yard,
Sixty antlers took most of my might.
Now I just need to put on the lights.
But sadly I am not leaving it up for fear they will disappear into the night.

Yeah! No antlers are allowed in the bedroom, that is because they are everywhere else in the house, including the bathroom.

Merry Christmas everyone! I try to build an antler tree most years. Didn’t have the time this year but here is a photo of last year’s tree. Lots and lots of zip ties! My wife loves how sturdy the “branches” are for hanging ornaments and that it is a different tree every year.
