This was a great experience! Here's me and APMauroSr, who I finally got to meet in person. He's author of some hunting books, The New Age Hunter, and Take Me on Safari. See, thenewagehunter.com

We both got javelina's that day.

Here's some more stuff our group shot another day.

Here's a young soldier, PFC Mendosa. The group, out of keithwarren.net, sponsored 5 young soldiers on the hunt. Mendosa had crushed his ankle, jumping on a fellow wounded soldier to protect the other soldier's wounds from getting dirt in them, when another mortar went off nearby. Its neat to meet and talk and hunt with these young American heroes at these hunts.

Here's the whole group who went on the hunt. It was some federal military run land for hog/javelin/varmint hunting this last weekend.

The group there at keithwarren.net TV forum paid for 5 soldiers to stay and hunt there. Mendosa won that certificate, for biggest hog shot by a soldier, he gets another free hunt.

Want to guess how much his hog weighs?

Here's another pretty good one, he got it friday night.

Tom, I'll guess 318 on the Piggy....and yes I will eat crow, Good going for Keith and to the rest of you guys getting to spend time showing America's Finest a good time. WTG, John

Hey 280! You're still around, that's good. He does joke around but he could hunt your ass into the ground, no problem, that would be my bet.

Nah, anywhere, even in your backyard. He's been making 50 shows a year for 8-9 years now. That guy can hunt or fish anything, anyway, anywhere, anytime, and do great, it seems like.

He's the guy in the green shirt here. The other 5 are the active military we sponsored at his forum (keithwarren.net) for this hunt.

then why does he hunt all game farms? and on a side note what he is doing for the sevice men is great, its just his high fence hunts that he thinks are as tough a public ground that chaps me.

Some are, some are not, anybody who has hunted both much knows that.

Here's a muzzleloader caribou he got last year. It wasn't high fence, geez. It really chaps the hell out of you, a high fence, eh. Its part of hunting for some, just not for some others. He's taking his bow this year and has invited forum members to go with him on that caribou hunt. One member will be drawn for it to be free, while the others pay the big price it has.

www.safariguys.net/misc/camera3.jpg is a picture of Keith's huge muzzleloader caribou in velvet.

you are missing the point Tom, I don`t give a damn if he chooses high fence shoots, if thats his idea of hunting then so be it, some guys like brothels some don`t,,,,,,,,, just don`t play it off as a tough hunt and don`t even compair it to non high fence hunt

I didn't miss that error you're making, I said its an error. At least we agree that what he is doing for the soldiers is pretty neat, or a good thing.
