Help trying to match a powder from the 1960s

Thanks for the info. I have had my own 300 H&H in an x-bolt since 2018 and also have used H 4350 in it. I was just trying to recreate my Dads load in his rifle because I knew it had been so effective. What kind of dye are you using for neck sizing?

I have, had, an old friend who also owned a 721 in 300 HH. That rifle was a death ray. Good luck with your efforts. Do you have any of his old ammo left over?
I have an RCBS neck sizing die.

Don’t bother trying to duplicate the load. Just work up a load of H4350 as if you didn’t know anything about the rifle and be happy with it.

I know, I saw that when I posted this. I just got the Garmin now I have to figure out how to set the date.

I understand I have a Labradar and still trying to figure it out.
