Help me choose a 22-250

I'm a Ruger guy. I have a 22-250 in a #1. If I had it to do over again I would have bought a Ruger Predator in 22-250 and chosen another caliber for the #1. I don't like the 1:14 twist of the #1. The slow twist is too limiting to bullet selection.

I have a Browning X-bolt that is deadly on coyotes. It’s my go to gun when I get the hounds out. I got it used for under 500 bucks

Do you think modifying 22-250 to an AI with the 14:1 twist would do any good or should I be happy with what I have?
