I've put in some time scouting the unit and so will probably put in for it again. It was a bust last year but I had a good time searching.

I thought I knew what muddy/slick dirt roads were like till I hunted this unit. It's the slickest shart I've seen in my life. Felt exactly like driving on black ice! Luckily I escaped and bought chains to carry from now on.

New to the forum. Grew up hunting in NW New Mexico and SW Colorado. Relocated to OK a couple years ago and I want to get back into hunting locally. Never hunted whitetail before but I’m going to make it happen this year. I’ve also got the bug to get into bow hunting. Thanks!
