Howdy, South Dakota resident that unfortunately spends most my time working Lake Michigan’s Calumet Harbor. Grew up hunting Midwest whitetails and graduated to mule deer and pronghorn with an elk hunt always in the works.

It can be rough down that way on the land side of things. Although the perch fishing can be good at certain times of the year in some of the slips and in the mouth of the Cal. And Calumet Fishery is always a highlight down on the SE side.

Yeah we’ve done a little fishing around there when we get a break at work, there are some absolutely giant whitetails around O'Brien lock and down the CalSag. I just have to work here not live here.
