HB145 - Increase NR license fees

More NR tags need to be allocated for private only.
Serious question but if more NR tags are allocated only to private, isn't that going to give more outfitters a bugger customer base taking more land out of BMA and into leasing or just leasing it to NR directly? The appetite of NR for tags isn't going away. I don't think anyway.

B tags in particular. I see your point though.

It stops when tags stop selling. Thats @antlerradar 's point - in spite of what he wanted for NR.

More NR tags need to be allocated for private only. Disappointed the bill referenced earlier didnt work out.

Outfitters picked up their bonus point that helps them ensure clients get a license. This is all in the license data that was posted earlier.

Pretty sure you missed his point. When the hunting sucks enough you stay home we will adrdress things
No I didn’t - and I think your wrong about that cuz the hunting for deer atleast has sucked right isn’t that what we’ve been talking about for years yet it still sells out . More tags need to be private land only

I get a kick out of the residents that think price increases like this are going to somehow reduce the number of NR hunters. If anything it just prices out the average Joe NR and then all the NR that are coming here will be the ones with enough money to pay for access and push residents off more ground.
enter the likes of the Iowa couple.

Some residents are willing to accept the commercialization if it means fewer NR hunting the public land they hunt. I would expect the number of these residents to continue to increase if we do not find some way to improve the quality of the public land hunting. This is especially true in 6 and 7 because in western MT the units are LE. suck or require hard work for the NR preferred species, mule deer.

That's understandable and by no means do I disagree with those residents but there's gonna be fewer advocate NR for those public lands I'm afraid if they can't use them. It's a shitty situation, I'm not sure what the answer is there. Too many people not enough animals/places.

Weapon restrictions reduce success and allow more opportunity but we/hunters have a really hard time biting the bullet or broadhead and putting our technology down
