It’s laughable at this point that’s why this bill made me chuckle. Keep charging the nonresidents more hell add more of them it doesn’t matter. Very rarely do you ever see a bill to actually tackle the issues at hand. Get bambistew on here to tell us that the last year we hunted Montana is the best we will ever see because that is truth, and I don’t see a way that ever changes.

Also I think that native hunter has to hunt with a family member currently living here. So I guess that would be double the amount of people at the trail head. Let’s speculate and say 400 of those licenses are issued and 50% fill their buck tag. I sure wouldn’t complain about having 200 more bucks on the landscape. Wouldn’t you like to see that as well?

If I remember correctly it was under 200 tags sold. Yes you are right it is more people at the trail head but considering all the other things a guy could put effort into it’s pretty minimal

They didn't listen then, so now I'm all in favor of them.

I can now say, after taking advantage of it every year since, "I told you so."

They're so embedded now, you'll never get rid of them.

That response kinda reminds me of one I know who was hard up one time and told me he would step over the penny’s and only pickup the quarters. Why not go for low hanging fruit. It might be all you can get.

I’m more curious how much nonresidents will keep paying to come here.

There is literally no limit. I just witnessed a guy offering to pay $1500 a year to deer hunt a 40 acre parcel. A 40 acre parcel with less than an acre of habitat on it. The rest is all tillable. There's more money than brains out there. Way more.
