Who is the guy/gunsmith (Scott?) that has the youtube channel Quarter minute magnums? He's near the Washington state border of Idaho, near I believe Moscow? He builds custom rifles. Id rather have him build me a custom, or even Randy Selig just west of Cody. Low budget operations.
I went to Gunwerks in Cody, and saw a fancy showroom & building. You are paying for that. I can afford a Gunwerks rifle, but Im not sure I see the value there. Ultimately, its the indian, not the arrow. And ethically, I can't see anybody shooting a beautiful magestic elk further than 5 or 600 yards. Even 600 yards is quite a poke in Montana wind.
