14 & 15, I would vote YES if by 'permit' you mean 'a person should pass a Firearm Safety Training course with a live-fire component before acquiring or purchasing a firearm'. Otherwise, NO.

20 - I don't know what a 'Smart Gun Lockout' is, so abstain but will research

27-28 : I am not familiar with short-barrel restrictions (nor do I personally find the issue compelling or pervasive enough to research), so abstain

Guns ownership is an inextricable part of public land hunting (unless we go 100% bow and arrow). As such, HT has had its fair share of "gun control good/gun control bad" arguments, but rarely does anyone take the extreme position that unlimited access to all weapons is OK, or that all guns should be banned. As with most things, the devil is in the details. The following is intended to get a sense how a fairly broad-based group of outdoorsman/woman (HuntTalk) view the various questions being bantered around various legislative bodies around the country in 2021.

I am asking that you do not debate your points, criticize the positions of other, call names, use pejorative labels like commie or facist, invoke your personal belief of what the founders intended or instruct SCOTUS on the proper reading of the 2A. If at all possible just answer YES or NO. If minor clarification or caveat for your answer is needed that is fine, but please don't "argue your point". If you feel compelled to address these topics I just asked you not to address in this thread, please start you own thread.

Clarifacation needed on a couple like what defines "secure " for storage?

Universal background at gun shows, yes but person to person outside that, no

I'd need to see who can't own guns now before I can answer that

That is the real question that needs to be addressed , will any new gun laws make a difference in gun violence? The answer is no ! Hypothetically gun laws are written to protect the population from harm , law makers are well versed on the problem and see the statistics and act accordingly . That is not even close as to how it’s done . Listen to these representatives talk and see how clueless they are or even worse their agenda is all about I don’t like guns and no one should have them ! States are making the difference now with gun laws now , live in a liberal dominated state and you have very oppressive gun restrictions and violation of constitutional Constitution. Maryland , New Jersey , New York , Massachusetts etc have gun laws in place that make lawful gun owners criminals because they don’t know the foolish laws they have in the state ! You may not process a hollow point bullet in the state of New Jersey and it’s possible to do up yo five years in that state for their possession ( one for each bullet up to five) ! Why would anyone with any knowledge want to outlaw hollow points ?

Anyone who has 30 minutes to google can find enough information to understand what our forefathers point was in the 2nd Amendment ! IT IS THERE FOR THE PEOPLE ! It is there for the black guns and high capacity magazines , to protect individuals from tyranny both foreign and domestic! I have no confidence in a government that has no regard for the Constitution and the rights of law abiding citizens. 6 million guns sold in this country in January of this year proves Americans want the right yet Joe Biden will sign a executive order to start the banning of guns he doesn’t like based on no science , trust in this one fact ! Joe Biden , Democrats and the press are not the gun owners friend ! No more useless gun laws and get rid of ridiculous laws that are unconstitutional ! Maryland I can’t buy many AR-15’s but I can buy any AR-10 lol , these are the law makers we put our future in !

I am asking that you do not debate your points, criticize the positions of other, call names, use pejorative labels like commie or facist, invoke your personal belief of what the founders intended or instruct SCOTUS on the proper reading of the 2A. If at all possible just answer YES or NO.
