I love my wife. She told me to go find what I wanted for my birthday and get it. I was looking at a couple of shotguns, but since I couldn't shoulder them & test for fit, I decided to get something I've always wanted - A nice Luger. This one is a more recent production from Mauser, made in the early to mid 70's for import. It matches the early American Eagle Lugers that were imported between the wars. I haven't shot it yet, just drooled on it.

I have an 1888 Commission rifle that's a vet bring back. One day I was cleaning the rifle and took the butt plate off to find a note from the son of the soldier that brought it back. Pretty cool items floating around from the war.
