Gun Porn Wednesday

Hahaha! I know it's not a very manly color but it's all they had in stock. Plus the offending dogs don't care what color it is. All they know is that it makes them pinch a loaf real quick lol!

Krylon is cheap and easy to apply. :D

Acquired this Mod. 70 about ten years ago. It belonged to the land owner of the place I hunt now and sat in a soft case in a closet for years after he passed. It looked like it had never been shot, zero handling marks but had some surface rust on the bluing and the bolt. The jeweling on the bolt was ruined. I cleaned it up as best I could and have been hunting with it ever since, killing all my biggest bucks with it.

Fast forward to a couple weeks ago; I sent the bolt off to p_ham and he worked his magic. The rest of the rifle is still ugly but the bolt sure looks nice! The serial # dates it to being built in 1969. @p_ham

Edit: the best group I ever shot with it. Federal 100gr Sierra Game Kings 200yds off a pack with a rear bag. It’s not quite as accurate anymore but it’s probably more me than the rifle.
