Gun Porn Wednesday

Ben, is it a big task to put the Malcolm on a Sharp's? I guess that I mean, do I have to seek an "expert" or can a "regular" gunsmith do it? I'm really wanting one on my 45-70.

Details Southwind, details please.

The top is a match AR in .223 with a 26" 1n6.5" pac-nor barrel I had John Holliger build and tune the trigger for me really before his White Oak days. The 6.5 twist was specifically for 90 grainers. Centra sights. Lipski front sight base, A1 buttstock w three way adjustable buttplate. Great shooting AR

Model 70 fwt 270wsm with Zeiss Conquest, (it now has a Z3 Swarovski my wife gave me on it) great shooter

Grand dads ole 1899 in 303 savage I like to still take out for a spin mostly during antlerless season.

Here is a Mod 70 fwt in 270 I re-did. it's a 61'

I would think any competent smith could mount it. It's more detailed in terms of hardware but in the end, it's 4 holes to fit the mounts. This one has the sliding heavy recoil mount so you have to return the scope to battery but it's giving me 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards. For a cheap reproduction scope, it ain't bad.

I'd love to fondle that 94.

24 inch barrel? I bet it points like a shotgun.

26 inch, I think. It was my grandmother & mother's rifle. Going try and take a deer or two with it this year.

Thanks guys, they're a lot of fun and it's nice to spend a day at the range with dad, even when he's gone.

Today I celebrate the least powerful guns in the collection. My Daisy BB gun and my Big cat 1200. Air rifle. That thing could kill somebody. The Daisy is my dog stinger. There are a group of dogs that somehow get into my back yard and piss and crap in it then move on to the next yard. After a couple of them got shot with a few BB's in the Gluteus Maximus they have not been back. I bought the air rifle for the dogs but after shooting it I realized that it would kill them. It is just to powerful. I love dogs. So the BB gun was the perfect tool.

Hahaha! I know it's not a very manly color but it's all they had in stock. Plus the offending dogs don't care what color it is. All they know is that it makes them pinch a loaf real quick lol!
