Gun laws in Panama?

I saw a website talking about how great Panama is for retirement - buy or build a new home and no property taxes for 20 years, beachfront lots for $20k, homes for 70 - 120k, maid for $150/mo, no tax on foreign income, etc. The US dollar is their currency, too.

So - how are the gun laws in Panama? Anyone know where to look them up?

Moosie and I actually grew up in Panama. It is indeed beautiful. But from what I hear, nowadays you are taking your life in your hands living there. While we were there the US military virtually ran the place. That's not the case anymore.

I would think that it must be fairly stable, or these "money magazines" and investors wouldn't be pushing it. The article said that since the US dollar is the official currency, they have enjoyed actually the most stable economy in Central or South America and have since the ouster of Noriega.

Personally, I would worry about safety in almost any foreign country. Especially in France, since they can't defend themselves.

Calif.Hunter... If foreign investment interest you have a look at Dubai in the UAE and Doha, Qatar. Both are in the Persian Gulf. It's not all like what you see on CNN but being close top that sure doesn't help it though. I'm working over here and have never seen growth like this anywhere on this level. Zero tax and open to investors. One USD buys you about 3.6 Riyals. I still would take Panama over it though but interesting to see.

Your right about France too. They have changed there country flag to a white flag with a white cross in the center
