Mountain grouse sometimes allow photographers to get very close.

Each one is cool, but occasionally you kill an extra cool one. 
Beautiful! I think a mini fan mount would be sweet with that one (if not the whole bird).

I did a shadow box a few years back with some better fans. We shot some unique ones in WI with chocolate colored bands years ago, but they don't seem to cross the state line and I failed to save one.
My wife has no idea just how cool this is...
