There was a fellow here who patented a very popular meter for the oil patch...literally flew off the production line. He claimed it cost him, IIRC, 1400.00 to produce and he added zero to the price...they went for 14000.00 coz he could.

Looks to have a similar rasp like finish to the lodges I haveI think you're supposed to use your cast iron skillet for a year, make a spatula out of it and buy another... then repeat. Its the best way to turn your $30 skillet into a $2 spatula.View attachment 279789
