Actually, IMHO, people do not especially like to correct other people, specifically on the internets. Their are many people on this site just waiting to pounce when someone needs help.... just look at all the "Welcome to Hunt Talk" comments. So many welcoming, happy to help folks. You're assumption that people just want to correct you is dead wrong.
