Good writing

Walt had a great story or two in Bugle a few years back, hope this collection measures up.

No comment on the Neffa=Ponce. But I feel that the word " Ponce " was damn original.
Would you consider a Ponce a step above a wanker, or below?
Again, no association on my part between either word and neffa.

I never said neffa IS a ponce, I said he was kind of a ponce… ponce adjacent if you will. You, sir, were the one who EQUATED neffa to being a ponce.

Nevertheless, ponce is definitely a step above wanker. Also fun when used as a verb, such as “neffa was just poncing about.”

I explicitly DID NOT equate.
Going through Ted Lasso for the second time, so I'm enjoying the term wanker.

Three pages in and no one has offered up any Pat McManus selections as examples of profound reading?

Myself and several friends could quote near verbatim several of his stories at one time in our lives…
