Gastro Gnome - Eat Better Wherever

Goin Australia.

We have some land we bought up in Queensland ( other side of the rock ) in the Whitsunday's. Perth would be good. Port hedland is suppose to be pretty nice also isn't it? Kind of a small fishing village. I think actually that one of her brothers works the trawlers out of there. I'll check with her and see and let you know.

I was just thinking about your move the other night, and wondering where it stood. Good luck on the move Kiwi. With your sense of humor, I'm sure you'll make the best out of any situation.

Yep, the idea of being able to retire in 8 years sounds good to me. Having moved around a bit, the hardest thing for me is being away from family - Mom and Dad (grandma and grandpa to the kids), cousins, nieces and bephews, etc.

Jeff, I just saw this post.. I'm glad you took the job, but be sure to drink lots of water. That heat will do you under without you ever knowing it's coming. I think you made the right decision. Now you don't have to worry about buying that Sako.. You can afford it. You just don't have anything to shoot with it.

Be sure to send photos when you get settled... I'll see you in Arizona in about 8 1/2 years... Cheers...

Jeff and Janet congrats on the job I hope everything turns out good for you mate.Just think you could hop back on the jet and go home in a few years with no worries about working again.

Good luck Kiwi! Just send those rifles of yours to Dan for safekeeping in the meantime. ;) But...if you're moving to Australia, what will we call you now? I suggest Platypus! :D
