Sorry for your loss, I can only imagine how tough it is. I've lost family dogs when I was younger, but I just recently got my first dog that is truly "mine". She is only 1 year and a half, but I know when the day comes that I will be crushed.

Thanks for sharing. Loosing a dog/partner/familymember/duckgetter/fartscapegoat/friendlyfacewhenyouneedone/alwaysthereforyoubuddy is one of the deepest pains on this earth. Yet, we never seem to let it keep us from getting another puppy/poopmachine/chewupeverythingyouholdsacred/whatwillittakeforyoutolearnthisstupidcommand/awwlookathimsleep.
