Gmu question

Ok so this is probably a dumb question but bear with me bc I am just figuring western system out.

I'm looking at my ONx maps and diyhuntingmaps.com and the units have different numbers. My question is, when referring to antelope do gmus have different numbers than when referring to elk? And then different again when referring to deer? Everything else seems to match up as far as unit lay out and public boundaries and so forth. Am I right in this or have I completely missed something?

It depends on the state. WY has different unit numbers for different species but I think most of the other states have the same unit numbers.

What Elkish said. Wyoming has different hunting units per species.

Colorado has the same for elk deer and bear. I think they are different for antelope and I know they are different for sheep and goats.

I think MT has some units that are different per species as well.
