Had to carry a bunch of stuff in to a building last night at -24 air temp. It wasn't really that bad. I will take a little cold snap over hurricanes, wildfires, poisonous snakes, dust storms, severe droughts, poisonous insects, and extreme heat. I really, really hate extreme heat. I will save my allotted wintertime complaints and use them in the summer!

We even got a dusting of snow this morning here in south Texas. I just saw a blizzard warning for south Louisiana. That's crazy.

We've got zero snow. What we did have went away last Friday when it was 50. Now I have -4 at 11am. Was a balmy 57 when I got into the house! Kicked the furnace up to 68 and I'm trying to decide what to have for lunch.

Took the dog to the vet this morning for shots. Still below zero at 11:30am. Cut our normal walk in half. Had to raise my voice to get the dog to come inside. He sure loves the cold and snow. My hands were numb

Talked to my son earlier today. One of his chem e friends from school got a job at honeywell in baton rouge and they closed the site today due to the weather.
