Been there.

My BMC had 25X that amount in his face...

The vet stopped counting at 200 and I pulled randomly surfacing quills out of his snout and gums for 6 months.

How he didn't lose his eyes is beyond me.

Been there, twice. Both times 300 miles from the nearest vet. Pulling them is tough on man and beast. You got a good pup there.

Interesting, I'm going to try to never finger pull quills again, as within about half an hour of pulling some from my pup I had some sort of allergic reaction and lost my vision/couldn't keep my eyes open for a few hours. Anyone else allergic to porcupine quills?
