What a beauty. I'd rather catch big panfish than just about anything in freshwater. Is that a deformity in line with the anal fin? We catch a crappie now and then that had a bend in the backbone in that same location.

Yes I won the tourney with that fish, yep it's going on the wall next too my previous personal best
of 15 1/4", I also caught 12 other jumbos that were smaller and are still swimming , that big one was the first fish as the sun came up, but still over 12", and Elkmagnet I only fish cascade tourneys by myself.... Gotta keep those spots too myself...

the perch from this particular lake too get very big that's for sure.... maybe something the Gov. isn't telling us....
