it was not that long ago when 2 bags was the norm and they could be 75lbs. i had a friend drive my truck/camper and jet boat from mt to alaska for caribou/moose/fish .
and then the rest of us would just fly up. this worked out great coming home from alaska as we had a nice scale to weigh the coolers we would fill up with fish/meat . we would fill them up a cpl days ahead of time and pay 1 of the guides on the river to put the coolers into his freezer for a day or 2 . then pick them up on our way to the airport. check in with 2 coolers that each was 75lbs and fly back. all of our other gear and rifles we left in the camper for the drive back to mt. at that time canada was i think $100 to do the paper work for a permit for the rifles coming back . this was a very good and cheapest way to get the meat and fish back. not a good option for you now in texas
