I watched one in action compared to magneto last weekend. They were within 10fps of each other. I’m getting one. Right after my new rifle build by P_ham

Don't go selling your Labradar or Magneto speed just yet. My Garmin Xero stopped working correctly today. After half an hour with tech support the only solution was to send it in for an exchange. If a factory reset or software update on the user's end does not solve the issue, it's considered non repairable. The warranty is for 12months.
Internal battery and storage......no bueno

It would be a shame if you purchased a new one and accidentally mixed them up, returning the defective one. Surely the working-class should shoulder the shortcomings of a billion dollar behemoth, as it's the right thing to do.

I'd hate for that problem to be repackaged and sent to someone else as an "open box, unused item" but I definitely relate to your sentiment.

It's not like Garmin intentionally sent me a blemished item knowing it was defective when they packaged it. That would be un excusable.

I have a Montana 700i that randomly misplaced waypoints, tech support at Garmin asked me if the device was turned on while viewing the waypoints......lol

Not good. Thanks for sharing this experience. Electronics with 12mo warranties may be common, but for a product like this (and at $600ea), it seems like it is a little short.
