With accuracy like that you should be able to set back a good ways from the corn flinger.

Nice shoot'n. Have ya tried IMR4831? My 270S really liked that powder, wasn't quite as fast but shot just as well or better. It always nice to have options for those times when you're 12 hours from boarding a plane to Africa and realize you're out of you go too powder.

No, doubt I'll switch & not in to ML.

Using 4831 for one of the 300 win mags. Good results.

Haven't scaled it but it seems light, even with the 28" heavy tube. Well balanced for offhand but hard to settle on bench....pretty narrrow foreend. Good stock & comfortable grip w/thumb-hole. but recoil surprisingly high.

I'd say you can step back to 100 yards at this point.
