The Question is? Why introduce something "dangerous" that didn`t make it....on its own..... hump :)

Jose your comical. :D :D

Schmaltz,
So you are advocating we remove anything from the wilds that might cause us or our pets a danger? Maybe we should put in bike pathes instead of trails. Remove all the rocks so nobody trips and falls. Remove the trees so nobody falls out of one....
What dont you understand about my last post? No, dont remove them from the wild, but from populated areas where they are causing so much problems. The wolves in wisconsin are spread out far past the "wilds" and need to be removed or hunted back to the "wilds"
I the map accurate for what? if that thin red line is supposed to be the wolf habitit area i got news for you, they are far south of there as well.
as far as the statement of what killed more humans last year, that is a open statement. By accident, deer of course. Accidental killings are a hell of a lot different that attacks. accidents are just something that will always happen be it a wolf, deer, or other human on a cell phone crossing the center line.
We are not just talking about human killings, but other problems caused by Wolves in populated areas that have no fear of man, because they do not have to because they are not hunted. Its not the killing that bothers me, it everything else as well. We are trying to reintoduce Elk, and the wolves are killing calves and cows as well. Deer hunting in areas has been totally a joke in the heavy wolf areas.
My biggest concern is that with no hunting season for them the population is a a number where they are going to explode in numbers making it tough to manage them.
I will admit this, deer hunting to me and pretty much every landowner is more important than a frigging wolf that is not some "endangered animal"
I will kill one on site on my land if i see one, illigal or not as long as there is no collar on it, it will go down. The 3 S's is a strong rule in my neck of the woods, even a game warden was quoted as saying it was a good idea.

Schmaltz,

Do you really think a territorial animal like the wolf will "the population is a a number where they are going to explode in numbers making it tough to manage them"?

When was the last time you took a biology course? Any guesses why they are moving to these new areas you are afraid of them in?

And let me see if I get your intent. You don't want Wolves because they used to be less, and now if there is more, some guy in Canada might get ate, but you support re-introducing Elk into Wisconsin, knowing that people will possibly be killed by these big creatures??????

As for your deer concerns, how do you dismiss the tangible, real, and quantifiable danger from deer killing Wisconsin residents but remain scared of extremely remote possibility that a wild wolf will eat a Cheesehead?

I guess you didnt read my last post, or you just dont get it, because your summery is pretty much wrong.

Schmalts,
So why don't you want the wolves? Because they might eat Canadians? Or because you have too many deer? Or because you are scared they might eat Axl when he is out on the Party Barge in the middle of the lake? Or just cuz you get nervous in the woods?

Of all the things you are scared of when you are in the woods, where does the wolf rank?

I agree the wolves must die. But only because shooting them in the ass is a little on the cruel side.

! ! ! G A S P ! ! !

This coming from the king of shoot them in the ass??? :D:D:D

Why is it guner/sybil thinks he/she can continually ask questions, when he/she thinks they are above answering questions put to them???

Schmalts, I wouldn't bother or get frustrated, he/she is just a nuisance and not worth bothering over...

Jose just likes wolves because he found out they like peanut butter.
