Hope the body recovers as fast as possible. Curious, with the antibiotic you're taking, does it make you real sensitive to light? That's the stuff I took for the rmsf I got from my pet tick. The first few days, the medicine made me worse.

I guess, it says on the bottle to avoid direct exposure to sunlight. I think most antibiotics are that way though.

Schamlts, good post. My ankle swelled up last fall for no reason. The doctor tested me for gout and it was negative. He kept saying I twisted it.

I had a tick attached to my tender under belly about 8 years ago. I think I woke up the house screaming for my wife to get it off. I'm like Humphery Bogart in the African Queen. I can't stand leaches and ticks! I've never been tested for lyme disease, but I'm going to.
