Wyoming does aging of bulls in some units. You send them the two teeth on the front of the lower jaw and they tell you how old the bull was. Based on the fact that only two bulls were harvested the week we were there and the harvest dates coincide with the dates we shot our bulls, it looks like my bull was 4.5 and Spitz's bull was 6.5.
I wish the agencies had budget to do that in more hunting units in all states. I am always interested in how old a critter is. Fun to see the data.

It's always fun to see how old the bobcats, wolves, and fisher age out. On my FWP page they post the ages for you as they get them back. I've had a couple of bobcats in the 12 and 14 year old range.
