Highly recommend tailwind and spring energy (like baby food, not the yucky gels). Got me through a few ultra marathons without any cramping and very little soreness after. Liquids are your friend when its really hot, solids can sometime be a detriment - especially if you're huffing uphills. Good way to rehydrate and get base calories back in your system. Tailwind also makes a great post activity shake that has a bump of protein too.What’s the best backpacking food when it’s hot AF?
